A small red chair, who has come from Russia to us – a star flight away – and three more, a bit bigger chairs, give place to the great questions of our lives:
Who can tell us, why oranges are orange and the sky is blue? And which color does the wind have? Where is the middle of the ocean? Does anyone know, how many grains of sand there are?
We have no answers to our questions. But the sound of our instruments, the languages of our performers and musicians will help us to open our minds to unknown thoughts …

forever. is the children’s version of the play FOREVER. for adults.

The new kids production “immer/forever” by Toihaus Theatre steers towards huge philosophical questions and mesmerizes the audience with its poetic musical concept. Soft and loud sounds from guitar, piano, vibraphon, accordeon and ukkulele form an endless collage. And in all that, moments of humor that seemlessly play their part in this journey through infinity…”what I saw from the cheap seats

The rather slow play to the rhythm of the music on one or the other instrument, the “sky” hanging full of lights, letters and postcards, floating ballons, fine and thin like flowers, a few words here and there – in german, japanese, french, greek and english. The story is told through music and play, it evokes a feeling of infinity, as if it could continue “forever”. But it is not only images and sounds that move on in our heads – it is also thoughts to simple sounding questions like: “What do fishes drink?”
